About Me

I’m a freelance Event Manager from South Wales. Over the last decade I’ve thrown myself into the event industry head first, starting as a volunteer and working my way up to event manager. I completed my MSC in International Event Management in 2021 and have since gone on to enjoy an exciting freelance career in outdoor events and festivals.

My Welfare First Approach

The event industry is demanding; long hours and oftentimes stressful working conditions. I make it my mission to lead with empathy wherever I go, prioritising team welfare and ensuring everyone feels supported.

I recently completed a qualification in Mental Health First Aid which has given me the tools and confidence to thoroughly support my colleagues.

My Experience

Since beginning in this industry, I have gravitated towards operational roles. I love pulling together all of the moving parts of an event. I thrive in high-pressure environments and I’m a natural problem solver. I am highly organised and have a wealth of experience managing multiple events and projects simultaneously, often to tight deadlines.

This year I will be working towards completing a health and safety qualification so that I can continue to develop my skills in event operations.
